Why do you always use bold text. Hard on the eyes.

Gtk+ is fairly ubiquitous, and it''s not too bad to program in. Actually it''s fairly nice and clean. There are some decent mailing lists, and one or two books on programming with it. Just go to www.gtk.org.

I''d say just use Gtk and you''ll be fine. Try not to use any of the gnome stuff, because that is less common. But still most people have the gnome libs on their system also.

Thanks Dane, I''ll check into GTK+ some more. It sounds like it might be just what I am looking for.

Gromit ... my reason behind using bold is quite a long story. But, it seems okay on my machine, and every other machine I have ever been on. You might want to check the brightness on your monitor. But ... is this color better?

Or, he could try turning down the Gamma on his eyes. Works for me.
