What kind of (low cost?) mocap system are you using there? How much post-processing (smoothing jitter and other cleanup) was required?
Pretty awesome, dude...
Did the googling routine, et voila:
Software: https://neuronmocap.com/content/axis-neuron-software
Hardware: https://neuronmocap.com/products/perception_neuron
Price: 1000$ for just the body sensors, 1500$ with hands, software free on registration.
Given my current expieriences with Brekel and iPi, Eye cams and the Kinect (which was good-ish for a markerless moCap, but never stable enough), I might give this a try. Price is steep, yes, but if it is stable without lots of postprocessing, I might be sold.
@ turritom: hows your expierience? Is it as painfree and simple as it looks in your vid? How much postprocessing is needed before you can add the animations to your game?
That looks awesome. I'm a fan of the mocap idea and if it really is that accessible and good...
You'll have to keep this thread updated, or at least chat about your setup and results, if okay?!
*tips hat*
Money well-spent.
I hope you're acrobatic enough for moves like jumping spin kicks and backflips.
