In the meantime, I bought Resident Evil 4 a few days ago. Best game i've played in a number of years, and one of the few games in recent memory that I actually plan to play through more than once. It absolutely deserves all the game of the year awards it received - and if you don't believe me, watch this video of the first area.
Due to some personal commitments I haven't been able to do any coding for awhile. Fortunately I now have the time to get back to a game project.

RE4 is one of the best games I've ever played, except for the completely useless TMP -- it has no punch like the other guns.

I know what you mean, but i've just gotten to the area in the castle with the first shooting range and am running low on ammo for everything else. Lately the TMP has gotten me out of some tough situations. [smile]
It's a shame that it came out on the gamecube (version I bought) - it probably would have had much more exposure. Then again, looking at some side by side screenshots of the later Playstation 2 version, I can't blame Capcom - the gamecube version looks so much better. Hopefully the PC version coming out later this year will sell well.
